Clive Oakley Interim Manager and Supply Chain Support
Although Clive is happy working in pressured senior board level roles responsible for budgets, often measured in £100m’s with teams of 1200 staff across 80 sites or globally across 14 countries, he understands that the “devil is in the detail” down on the shop floor. He always tackles any role or assignments by getting back to the “shop floor”, making deliveries with drivers, picking in a warehouse with staff, planning with transport managers or customer visits with Sales Execs. This approach ensures he understands the culture, processes and challenges from top to bottom in the business so he can lead and deliver value adding management activity to drive performance.

Clive also understand the benefits of quickly building relationships with stakeholders and peers throughout the business to ensure that he is able to work with maximum support to achieve his goals whilst helping to deliver his colleagues objectives.

Throughout the 4 years of Clive’s Interim career and his prior corporate career he has enjoyed applying his skills and experience to a range of challenges in different sectors and industries. Please go to the Case Studies section to find some of the roles, projects and assignments Clive has delivered during his career.

Some assignments require specialist knowledge or support; this is when Clive is able to call upon his wide network of Interim Associates to provide that critical intervention to solve a problem whether it be a few days or many months, colleagues in his network, including Finance, Marketing, Operations Regulatory and Sales specialists are invariably able to solve the problem quickly and simply without the need for further recruitment activity.

Clive has been appointed a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT) and is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).
